German Premiere

The viewer is challenged to find and occupy his own position, to find his perspective in a similar way the filmmaker has found it on a look-out-point in the mountains.

Two parts, about the same length, answer each other but the tone isn't the same. There isn't much dialogue in COMME UNE OMBRE LEGERE, but there's a bit more and it's louder in FAIBLES AMUSEMENTS. In between the two, something happens or has happened. There really are thing you can hear like a story, not just echoes. And if they are echoes, they just wound up like that. – Jean-Claude Rousseau

Jean-Claude Rousseau, born in 1946 in Paris. In New York of the seventeens he descovered the avant-garde cinema. Back to Paris, he was totally dedicated to arts. In 1983 he shot his first short film on super 8. Since then his work is shown in numerous exhibitions and on international festivals, among others at the Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris, the New York University, the Cinémathèque royale, Belgium and on the festivals of Locarno, Vienna, Turin and Marseille. 2001 he got a hommage of his complete work at the Mostra of Venice.
