In darkness, light, scents, visuals, and sound create a sensorial realm. Elements transition subtly, as imagery appears and fades into darkness, into whiteness. Formless and spaceless, a space between spaces emerges. An undefined presence, wandering without leaving, merges with the field of light.

Lichun Tseng (born in 1979) is a Taiwanese artist based in the Netherlands. In her works, she is dedicated to exploring the vital dimensions of life, absorbing and partaking in its wholeness. Observation and reflective contemplation are profound mental drives in her work. She seeks to capture the indescribable yet sensible state of invisible in-betweenness through light-sensitive film. She approaches her research and practice mainly with 16mm film, installation, and audiovisual performance.
She is a member of Filmwerkplaats, an artist-run film lab in Rotterdam.
