‘Latawiec’ is an experimental short film, telling a simplified story of person, which is spending a windy, grey day at the seaside – alone in the landscape. He is drinking hot tea, watching his hands and flying a kite. There is a strange tension between the character and the object – what at first seems to be a game, turns out to be a fight, which takes place somewhere between reality and dream.

Maria Frycz , born in 1981in Zielona Góra, Poland. Studies of Fine Art in Avignon, Lyon and Münster (Fylmklasse). She lives in Berlin.
