Chaeeun Lee, a student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, was awarded the VIDEODOX Award 2025 for her work “We Don’t Know How To Cry” (2025). The Stuttgart-based artist Eva Schmeckenbacher received the award ex aequo for “Drei Hauben” (2024).
The 1000 Euros endowed prize was presented during the awards ceremony by the founder, Peider A. Defilla (B.O.A. Videofilmkunst).
